Las Vegas: Bellagio Resort & Casino Treats and Eats

For anyone planning a trip to Vegas, an afternoon at the Bellagio Luxury Resort & Casino is a must! The architecture is exquisite as are the cafes and restaurants. Not to mention the famous fountain water show is spectacular.

Breakfast/Lunch
For a late breakfast we decided to try Jean Phillipe Patisserie , which had extremely great reviews on Yelp (one of my best friends works at Yelp, so I try to use it as often as I can ;) ). From the hand crafted sandwiches to the decadent chocolate fountains, Isaak and I felt as though we stepped into a modern day Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory. We decided on the Banana's Foster and Chocolate crepes with a scoop of vanilla gelato and added a Carmel Twist coffee, it was divine.

We each got a scoop of gelato, we weren't going to share lol!

Died over this real oozing chocolate fountain!

How cute is this pink chocolate heel?!

The resort celebrated the Chinese New Year with a Bonsai shaped cake

Lunch/Dinner
After strolling through the designer stores Bellagio hosts (Valentino, Hermes, Harry Winston eekkk!) we decided to grab a light lunch at Todd English's Olives. What originally captured our attention was the restaurant patio, it overlooks the Bellagio lake with front row seats to the water fountain show. We were crushed that the patio filled quickly, but enjoyed a table near the window (tip: reserve a table online and get there 15 min to opening at 11, promise there's already a line) . Our waiter reccommend a Slingback cocktail that was truly delicious (made with grapefruit vodka). We feasted on the charcuterie board and the oysters on the half-shell. You cannot beat the views, elegant seating, and decadent selections.

They rim the glass with powered sugar, balances the tangy cocktail impeccably.

Had to snap this on the way out ;)

Have you been to the Bellagio or tried their restaurants? I love recommendations!

xo, Lea
