Ever since I was a freshman in college I have faithfully used Shout® products. Now I would like to say that I was responsible teenager that did my laundry at home before I moved out, but that's just not the case. Whenever I got one too many mysterious stains on my clothes after a night at out I could always count on Shout® to remove that stain, no one had time or money to keep replacing their cute clothes! Today I will be sharing my best at home clothes care tips that I have found that can make your clothes last longer.

Now I love a great white sundress. But I hate that you have to be so super careful while eating out. This white dress is so sentimental, I wore it on my honeymoon in Cancun less than a year ago. Well, you can't tell in this photo but I spilled salsa (#Texasproblems) on it while at happy hour. I was so upset! I immediately went to my neighborhood Walmart to purchase the Shout® Trigger Triple-Acting Stain Remover. This product contains stain-fighting ingredients and enzymes that quickly and effectively penetrates to break up and remove tough stains. Shout® Trigger-Triple Acting Stain Remover is able to accomplish this with it's Triple Acting Formula.
According to the directions on the back, treat the area with the product that features a super convenient trigger dispenser. Just spray it on girlfriend! Next, rub the product in. Then let it sit for no more than 5 minutes and then put the item in the washer.

Now its important to note that the Shout® Trigger Triple-Acting Stain Remover is able to be used on all color-fast clothing and in all temperatures, however I reccommend to wash all your clothes in cold water. This prevents color fade and is best for the environment. Also if your washer allows, use the quick wash setting. This cuts the time in half which reduces the amount of water and electricity used, which saves on those bills and helps reduce the impact on the environment.

I was so happy that my stain was removed! As a fashion enthusiast I love shopping for clothes and sometimes make investments in designer items. It is just as important to care for our wardrobe pieces. After washing your items, I reccommend hang drying all clothes. I rarely use the dryer with the exception of towels, bedding, and pajamas. I do this because I have found that drying shrinks your clothes and fades color treated clothing. No one wants to spend money twice! Take care of your clothes people.

I reccommend purchasing a small clothes drying rack that you can find at most grocery stores in the laundry care. They are inexpensive and provide additional space to hang your clothes. In college my roommates and I used to hang our clothes on the stair banisters (haha true story) to make our sorority t-shirts last longer. I can now splurge on a $5 drying rack having a big girl job!
Now the downside of this is that some clothes with heavier fabrics do not dry flat. I reccommend using a steamer with distilled water for getting wrinkles out. I use a steamer for several reasons, one being that I am too lazy to take out the ironing board in addition to the iron (lol!). But the second, an iron simply cannot be used for more delicate fabrics. Have you ever tried to iron a polyester romper?! It is so much easier with a steamer.

I absolutely love that Shout® Trigger Triple-Acting Stain Remover was made with the New Generation of Stains™in mind. We simply do not have the same stain needs as before.
