Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Review - Lea Carmen

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Review

Happy Friday friends! As we are in the middle of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale I wanted to do a review on things that I purchased and things that I returned. Last weekend I went into Nordstrom and tried on a couple of items that I had seen online but wasn't sure of the fit. You can check out my original picks here.

Dress | Hat | Sandals: Gianni Bini not online | Lips

1. Crowl Neck Sweater: You probably saw this sweater on all the fashion blogs you follow. When I opened the package I was crushed because I knew it looked too big. Sure enough it was 2 sizes too big even though I ordered my normal size. I had to return it. The fabric is SO soft and would be perfect over leggings.

2. Lush Bell Sleeve Dress: This dress has 8 different colors left and some sizes in stock online. With a price point of under $32 this was a hot ticket item! I saw some in store, but sadly the print I purchased is sold out online. I would reccommend getting the maroon or black because it will be on repeat this fall. This was probably my favorite purchase. It runs slightly big so if you are between sizes, size down. Loved this!

3. Lush V Neck Crepe Blouse: I originally posted about a similar Lush top but I ended up buying this one in the dark green after trying it on in store. It fits true to size and is super lightweight, which is perfect for layering! Loved this!

4. Leith Lace Up Blouse: I bought this in maroon and it was another favorite purchase! It is sold out online, but I kept mine. So if there is a restock I will let you know!

5. B.P. Cardigan: I usually am not a fan of cardigans in the fall. I'm really short and most cardigans hit me on my legs awkwardly, because of the $32 price point I had to try it on for kicks while shopping in store. So glad I did, it was oversized enough but not too bulky! There's only 2 colors left online.

6. Leith Dolman Dress: This dress was too big and boxy for my body type but a great steal and fall staple! I tried this one on in the olive green color, while the color and fabric were perfect the fit wasn't for me. I passed.

Beauty and Accessories

1. YSL Lipstick Nude Kit: I had such high hopes for this seemingly perfect lip kit deal! When it arrived in mail the lip glosses had a weird smell to them, maybe from being stored in the summer heat? It smelled like burned plastic. This got returned.

2.Phase 3 Felt Hat: I wanted to get a great felt hat because they are going to be a huge trend again this year. I needed to try on it store and scored this leather trim detail felt hat for only $19! I bought this in the tan/brown color.

3. Tory Burch Convertible Leather Bag: This was another item that was all over the fashion blogs before the #nsale hit. The black and tan are still in stock online. I did see one in store and tried it on. For the sale price of $284, this bag is just underwhelming in my opinion. There are other bags that have more detail and give a wow factor than this one. I passed. Pro Tip: Wait for Black Friday to purchase your Tory Burch purses, they are discounted a lot on this holiday sale!

1. Steve Madden Over the Knee Boot: I was so excited to try these on! They fit perfectly her my knee and are so pretty on! I am 5'1 and these were just right length wise on my leg. These I kept and they have all sizes online!

2. Ugg Grey Suede Boots: I was unsure about whether I should keep these or not because inside the sole there is the signature wool fuzzy material inside. Living in Texas, I was unsure if these would keep my feet too warm since it doesn't get too cold in the winter. The color and hopeful winter traveling plans made me keep these. A great fit and all sizes are in stock online!

I hope this review gives you some insight into the fit and my recommendations. Thank you so much for stopping by!
